dancehALL: debuts the new creation by Lost Movement
Nicolò Abbattista and Christian Consalvo made a new creation for the Lost Movement Company: dancehALL.
dancehALL is a meeting place, a ballroom where choreographic creation comes to life around two primordial instincts of human beings: the desire to move and meet. The four performers investigate the balance inside the couple’s relationship through the analysis and deconstruction of four different dances that involve and capture the audience: salsa, cha cha cha, jive and polka.
The desire to return to the community, among people, materializes with the national debut as part of PortaMI a Ballare, Milano Dancing City’s event, made to bring dance and live show to the suburb area of the city of Milan.
The debut is also linked to a training project promoted by the Company, Milano Dancing City and ArteMente, Higher Center for Dance, which involves the local dance schools: the students of the participating schools will join some rehearsal sessions, to perform during the premiere with the Company and the ArteMente students.
The Company thanks the schools ProPatria 1883 Milano, Centro Danza Borello from Novi Ligure and Soul&Body from Borgomanero, for their participation.

Let’s meet on Sunday 30th June, at 5.30 pm, at Barrio’s, in Piazzetta Donne Partigiane – Milan.
Other 2 performances are already scheduled, in Milan:
- Sunday 14th July, with a double performance (3.30pm and 5.30pm), as part of DanzaMI, a exiting dance event promoted by Milano Dancing City, in the historic city centre, in Piazza San Carlo;
- Sunday 21th July, this time with the theatrical version of the piece, as part of the Estate al Castello 2024, in the prestigious location of the Castello Sforzesco, at 9.30pm.
