A pain that takes your breath away.
Am I, devoured by doubt, have I lost you?
The Limbo of uncertainty destroys the soul.
Do I wait for you?
The “anyway” terrifies me every time.
Did it mean anything to you?
I don’t know how to get used to smart dreams
and a life “after all”
Can a memory be forgotten?
My mind travels in search of its whys.
Will we see each other again?
After All is a circle that cannot close, the mirror of a relationship that evolves, but ultimately remains itself and returns to seeking its origins. When the relationship cracks and contact is lost, when the absence prevails, the essence of the relationship remains. The piece stems from a research on the concept of “after all,” focusing on those moments that leave a mark. Like footprints on the sand, the moments of a still fresh past follow one another, ready to bring back to memory the images of the bond between the two performers. A story that recounts a daily life put to the test by the filters of contemporary society, evoking sensations linked to an essential and schematic past. What remains when the lights go out?
