Nicolò Abbattista choreographer for Resid’AND 2023, a project by the Accademia Nazionale di Danza

The Resid’AND project was born with the aim of bringing the National Dance Academy into dialogue with some of the most interesting proposals on the national and international contemporary dance scene, with the purpose of creating performance opportunities for the students/dancers of the AND, expanding thus the artistic-cultural training of the participants who have the opportunity to engage with the scene, to research and experiment through the proposals of the guest choreographers in a generative exchange of creativity and learning.

Nicolò Abbattista, choreographer of the Lost Movement Company and Co-Director of the ArteMente Professional Dance training Center, is the choreographer selected for the 2023 year. During the months dedicated to the project he will work with the students of the AND for the restaging of Sehnsucht, a production created for the Lost Movement Company.
