Susanna Pieri, 1988, freelance dancer and choreographer, began her studies at a very young age in a school in Lucca, under the direction of Loredana Bruno, where she passed the exams of the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) study program. In 2002 she was admitted to the Teatro Nuovo di Torino. Her training continued with a scholarship at the Scuola del Balletto di Toscana, directed by Cristina Bozzolini.
Her artistic career boasts numerous collaborations as a dancer for important theatrical projects and contemporary dance companies on the national scene: DNALaB – direction Martina Barbi, Fridamodanza – direction Monica Donati, DCE Danzitalia – directed by Luciano Cannito, E.sperimenti Dance Company, Oniin Dance Company – by Daniela Rapisarda).
She works in television for commercials, television programs, video clips for musicians and singers, and performs for art galleries, ateliers and photographic projects.
Since 2016 she has worked as a ballet and contemporary dance teacher for several private schools in Tuscany and collaborated with some event agencies as a choreographer (The Fan Events – Fashion In Fair). During the years, some of her choreographies have been invited to dance gala and have received awards and prizes.
In 2017 she obtained the national and European recognition of contemporary dance teacher (AED – Tuscany Region).
In 2018 she found the Soul Dance Junior Company together with Serena Colotti, giving young talents the opportunity to gain stage experience and setting herself the goal of continuous choreographic research.
Since 2015 she has been a dancer of the Lost Movement Company.
