Chiara Borghini, 1990, began her ballet and contemporary dance studies in Novi Ligure, participating in the training events and workshops of the Teatro Nuovo di Torino. She attended the study program of the Académie de Dance Classique Princesse Grace of Monte Carlo, and, with a scholarship, the two-year professional dance course at the Scuola del Balletto di Toscana, directed by Cristina Bozzolini. Back in Piedmont, she participated in Pompea Santoro and Veli Peltokallio’s classes in Turin.
Over the years she deepened the study of contemporary languages, being in contact with artists from: Batsheva Dance Company, Vertigo Dance Company, Akram Khan Company, Nederlands Dans Theater, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, Hofesh Shechter Company, MIR Dance Company, among others.
She worked as a dancer for various projects and choreographers: Enzo Cosimi for the 2006 Turin Olympic Games, Adriana Boriello for Amor, Oniin Dance Company (BO), Chantry Dance Company (England); and as a performer for artistic events, including Beat Kuert’s Furor Corporis exhibition in Milan. In 2019 she worked as a dancer for the Teatro Regio di Torino and for the Shaanxi Opera House in Xi’an, China. In 2022 she worked for Corona Events company for a show in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
In recent years she dedicates to the teaching of ballet and contemporary dance.
Since 2017 she has collaborated with ArteMente, Higher Education Center for Dance as a teacher and External Relations Responsible and Assistant Director.
Since 2019 she has been one of the founders of Milano Dancing City, a dance promotion and audience education project recognized by the Ministry of Culture.
In 2021 she is co-founder of Radic’Arte, firstly a festival for the promotion of dance and the enhancement of the territory, today a social promotion association.
Since 2015 she has been a dancer of the Lost Movement Company.
