Sometimes biographical experience and difficulties can become a creative trigger.
Can you hear me? is vulnerability generated by a physical limitation.
It is the expansion of the boundaries of disability with the intent to touch universal chords.
It is adaptation.
It is acceptance.
The body on stage becomes a manifesto of human resilience.
10%.
And if the battery runs out, can you hear me?
20 minutes of total immersion in a timeless and placeless atmosphere, where the body becomes a means of expression and exploration of the most intimate parts of the self. A journey to rediscover non-judgment through a dance that alternates everyday and simple gestures with a more abstract and structured one. Games of glances and interactions with the audience will therefore be fundamental. The alternation of silence and sound will be the soundtrack of this endless and beginningless journey. An empty and disorienting space finds its point of reference in FLOWAIT, a sculpture where time flows but does not chase us, we can stop and wait without fear. The structure appears solid and powerful in the empty space. Precise and geometric lines refer us to the figure of the house, a welcoming and safe space. A blank canvas ready to be painted without judging eyes, but rather, it offers its surfaces as a springboard, support, hiding place and background. A documentary of scenes from everyday life, a bombarding alternation of actions, places, colors, sounds, people, things and daily movements will be the leitmotif of this universal journey in motion.
